Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) resorted to damage control exercise after bungling in the dates of BCA Part-I and Part-II exam papers. The dates of BCA Part-I and BCA Part-II papers are clashing with each other and now the RTMNU has decided to reschedule the exam dates. When Nagpur Today apprised the Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Mahesh Yenkie about the flaw on the part of RTMNU, Dr. Yenkie assured that the examination dates will be rescheduled to suit the students.

In the original schedule, the BCA Part-I paper ‘Computer Oriented Statistical Method’ on 15-4-2014 and ‘Operation Research Paper’ on 17-4-2014 are clashing with BCA Part-II papers ‘Operating System Concept’ on 15-4-2014 and ‘Oracle’ on 17-4-2014 putting the  students who failed in the First Year BCA papers in great dilemma as they have to appear for BCA Part-II papers also.

BCA Student Aditya Agrawal  said the clashing of time table will be a big trouble for the students because they can only give one paper at a time. University needs to immediately correct the wrong and bring reforms in their system to avoid such problems in future.

Another BCA student Nihtesh Tarwe said, “Time table should be declared 1 month before examination not just 20 days before the examination. Part 1 and part 2 papers both on a same day that means it is impossible for failed students to become all clear (AC) in the exam. But now students can heave a sigh of relief as Pro VC Mahesh Yenkie has assured of rescheduling the dates of these exams.”
