Dacoity accused nabbed after 12 years of crime by rural cops

Nagpur: An accused in a dacoity case, absconding since the past 12 years, was nabbed by the Crime Branch of Nagpur Rural Police. The accused has been identified as Shankar Shyamlal Shahu (33), resident of Kumbhar Toli but now residing at present at Vijay Nagar, Kalamna. Cops were on the trail of the accused since 2004.

Acting on a tip-off, cops laid a trap and at Kalamna residence of the accused and waited in ambush. As soon as the accused Shankar Shahu arrived at his residence, the waiting cops nabbed the absconding accused.
