Nagpur: Cracking down on the hardcore criminals, the Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, ordered detention of history-sheeter Pradeep alias Balya Neelkanth Vanjari (38) under stringent Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities (MPDA) Act.
Several offences of serious nature such as murder, assaults with lethal weapons, inflicting injuries, inciting riots, doling out life threats, arson, robberies, possessing dangerous arms, extortion of money with the force of threats etc were registered against the infamous goon Pradeep alias Balya Vanjari. The criminal was earlier too was detained in 2012 under MPDA Act. Even after preventive custody of the goon, the goon continued his anti-social social activities with impunity.
Keeping in mind the dangers the criminal posed to society, the Commissioner of Police ordered detaintion of the goon under MPDA Act.
