Nagpur: Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar has detained dreaded goon Rishikesh Surendra Wankhede under the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Slumlords, Bootleggers, Drugoffenders, Dangerous Persons, Video Pirates, Sand Smugglers and Persons Engaged in BlackMarketing of Essential Commodities Act (MPDA), on Wednesday.
A resident of Rambagh, Imamwada, Wankhede (19) was involved in several crimes. Many offences of serious nature, including attempt-to-murder, were registered against him at various police stations.

Finally, Commissioner of Police Kumar issued his detention orders under MPDA. Wankhede has been lodged in Kolhapur Central Jail.
