Covid positive inmate slips away from GMCH Nagpur

Nagpur: Amid the novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) scare across the country, yet another inmate of Nagpur Central Jail escaped from their isolation wards from Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Nagpur on Sunday night.

According to police sources, the accused identified as Naresh Mailangenam was placed under arrest by Hudkeshwar police in the matter of theft. He had tested Covid positive following which he was rushed to GMCH. However, he managed to escape on Sunday night.
