Corporator Sandeep Joshi performs Bhoomi Poojan, 24×7 water Supply Project Begins in Dhantoli

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Orange City Water (OCW) started its rehabilitation work (changing of pipelines) from Dhantoli ESR command area (Jailward prabhag) for implementation of ambitious uninterrupted water supply project on Monday.

Prominent citizen from Dhantoli area, Mr Raju Golhar and corporators Mr Sandeep Joshi and Dr Safalata Ambatkar performed puja and bhoomipujan (ground breaking) of the rehabilitation project near LIC Quarters, behind Ramkrishna Math in the presence of prominent citizens of Dhantoli area.

In Dhantoli ESR command area work will be carried out in under four sub-divisions including DMA-1 : Panchasheel square-Lokmat Square-University Library, DMA- 2:Panchasheel square-Lokmat Square-Sule Highschool-Deenanth School, DMA-3: Deenath High School-Congress Nagar and DMA 4:Dhanwate National College-Dhantoli-Gorakshan.

It may be mentioned here, with addition of Dhantoli ESR command area from today and recently Gandhibagh prabhag (Sitabuldi Fort-1) command area now changing of pipelines activity under ambitious uninterrupted water supply project is going on in full swing in almost 12 command areas including Nandanvan, Shantinagar, Binaki, Deshpande Lay Out, Bazonbagh, Wanjari Nagar, Boriyapura Feeder, Boriyapura ESR, Reshimbagh and Nandanvan proposed ESR.

At Dhantoli ESR command area, OCW has also set up a ‘Water House’ for the consumers of area to address to their complaints about works related issues like digging of roads, restoration etc. Consumers can register their complaints at Water House No-9225117239.

Along with Water House, especially to listen to the complaints related with rehabilitation work and other water related issues OCW has also started its ‘24×7 Call Centre’ to address problems and complaints in entire city with a Toll Free Helpline No 1800-266-9899.
