Nagpur:
In a high-handed action, cops forcibly took Suraj Lolge, who has undertaken fast-unto-death agitation for curbing the terror and criminal activities of BJP Corporator and chairman of Maharashtra State Labour Board Munna Yadav, to police station around 11 pm on Monday under guise of ‘violation’ and tried to force him break his fast. The Police Inspector Bandiwar reportedly threatened him of action if he continued with his fast-unto-death. “You have violated the law by talking to journalists and action is being taken against you,” the cop told Suraj Lolge. However, when the family members of Suraj phoned the scribes and called them to the police station, the Police Inspector menacingly asked him to go now (but face the consequences later).

Why the haste on the part of police administration to act against Suraj Lolge in the dead of night? Is the question being asked by the scribes.

The controversy surrounding the chairman of Maharashtra State Labour Board Omprakash ‘Munna’ Yadav refused to die down with Suraj Lolge going on hunger strike at Samvidhan Square demanding Yadav’s sacking.

Lolge says several criminal complaints are registered against Yadav and hence he should be removed.
