Nagpur: In a cracking action, Crime Branch of Nagpur Police located a city woman in Rajasthan and rescued her from the clutches of Dalals who had pushed her into flesh trade. A total of six persons, including two women masterminds of Nagpur who sold the victim in Rajasthan, have been arrested.
According to police, the Additional Commissioner of Police Sunil Kolhe received an anonymous letter stating that a woman from Seminary Hills has been taken to Rajasthan by two other women and sold her for flesh trade. Mobile phone number of the sold woman was mentioned in the anonymous letter. Pursuing the matter, Sunil Kolhe handed over the letter to Police Inspector B M Powar for further enquiry. PI Powar first traced the location of the mobile phone and then contacted the woman. The woman informed PI Powar that she has been detained by some persons at Village Mau Borda, District Jhalawar, Rajasthan and all of them are raping her frequently. The woman further told PI Powar that she was trapped by Nagpur’s two woman namely Baby alias Rekha Kale and Nagma alias Nazma Sheikh and taken to Rajasthan and sold for Rs 1,20,000. PI Powar asked the woman to maintain calm and later apprised the Additional Commissioner of Police Sunil Kolhe and ACP Nilesh Raut about the entire episode. Both the top officials immediately ordered action to rescue the helpless woman.
Accordingly, PI Powar and his squad rushed to Jhalawar in Rajasthan and with the help of local police, raided the place where the woman was detained and rescued her. The rescued woman told police that the accused women Baby alias Rekha Nagorao Kale (45), resident of Ashirvad Nagar, Plot No. 1094, near Dadasaheb Thakre High School, Nagpur and Nagma alias Nazma Sattar Sheikh (42), resident of Kharbi Ring Road, behind Sumit Beer Bar, Orange Nagar, Nagpur trapped her by luring with a domestic job in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. Both the accused women, however, took her to Jhalawar in Rajasthan and instead of giving job, handed her over to two Dalals namely Jugalkishore Deolal Rawal (55), resident of Village Richva, District Jhalawar and Gautam Master for sell-off. Both the Dalals, contacted two persons from the area namely Siyaram and Kamalesh Mohanlal Nager and sold her to them for Rs 1,20,000. But before that, Jugalkishore Rawal and Gautam Master raped her and also thrashed with wooden sticks. She was forcibly detained at Village Mau Borda in Jhalawar District and was tortured and raped repeatedly.
The Crime Branch police, on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim woman, booked all the six accused under Sections 376(1)(G), 420, 406, 344, 346, 323, 34 of the IPC and Sub Sections 4, 5, 5 of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act 1956 and placed Baby alias Rekha Nagorao Kale, Nagma alias Nazma Sattar Sheikh, Jugalkishore Deolal Rawal, Gautam Master, Siyaram and Kamalesh Mohanlal Nager under arrest. Further probe into the matter is underway.
