Nagpur: Pachpaoli police on Monday rescued 8 bovines besides 10 tonnes and a TATA ace truck collectively worth Rs 18.71 lakh.

Cops have booked accused Ehsaan Qureshi, a resident of Khante Nagar and his accomplices in this connection.

On Monday afternoon, the sleuths of Pachpaoli police received a tip-off, that a truck comprising 10 tonnes of beef and 8 bovines belong to one Ehsaan Qureshi has kept near Khante Nagar. Subsequently, the cops raided the spot and rescued all bovines. However, accused Ehsaan and his 5-6 accomplice managed to flee from the spot.
