Nagpur: The cops of Ambazhari Police Station have received Police Custodial Remand (PCR) for MLA Krishna Khopde’s son and two of his accomplices till December 1, 2016. Three others who were involved in the assault case in Cloud-7 Bar and Restaurant were sent on Magisterial Custodial Remand.
MLA Krishna Khopde’s son Rohit Khopde and four accomplices had surrendered late at night at around 11 pm on Sunday. All the six accused were presented in the District Court on Monday, the November 28, 2016. The Court had given PCR for three accused including Rohit Khopde, Rahul Yadav and Girish Girdhar till December 1, 2016.
The Court had sent the other accused including Mohsin, Swapnil and Akshay on Magisterial Custodial Remand.
Sources claimed that the court has granted permission to Abhilash Khopde to receive treatment in hospital.
It could be mentioned here that all the seven accused have been accused of ransacking the Cloud-7 Bar and Restaurant and attempting to kill the owner of Cloud-7, while the owner of Cloud-7 Bar and Restaurant is accused and arrested for murdering Shubham Mahakalkar.
