So you are most likely to have a close encounter with your favorite heroine if you are in police department… This logic may be getting into the nerve of most of you but atleast the latest police recruitment drive from Nagpur police have enlisted this ‘special benefit’ in their campaign. The reason – to attract more youth towards this profession.
The Nagpur police commissioner office has recently released a brochure publicising the recruitment at 250 posts of sipahi, the drive for which would commence from April 17. The literature throws light upon various benefits in the job in order to attract more educated and socially sensitive youths.
The brochure enlists facilities like home loan, vehicle loan and interest free emergency loan from police welfare fund. However amid a slew of these benefits it is also mentioned that those joining the duty will also get to see the famous leaders, players and film stars visiting the city to attend the events.
Commenting on the stand, City Police Commissioner K. Venkatesham informed that efforts are being made to appoint highly educated youths in the department which will help in replenishing the image of police. The city police chief also conducted a press conference on Tuesday in which he informed that graduates from the engineering, law and social works background are being appealed to join the force for the larger interest of society.
