Nagpur: The convocation ceremony was organised for the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU) for the students of PG Diploma Indian Revenue Service officer trainees of 70th batch on Monday. Chief guest Vice Chancellor of NLSIU Dr.R Venkata Rao, along with Dr. Pushpinder Singh Puniha, Principal DG(Training), NADT, O.V. Nandimath, registrar at NLSIU, and faculty members of National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT) were present during the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest congratulated the trainees and extended his best wishes for their bright future. He advised the trainees to strive to become good officers and great human beings. He highlighted the importance of values like passion and compassion in the delivery of public services.
O.V. Nandimath, Registrar, NLSIU, administered the oath to the Officer Trainees. The programme concluded with the formal vote of thanks.
