Consumer Products Distributors Assn protests wrong policies of Kellogs

Nagpur: All distributor members of Consumer Products Distributors Association (CPDA), Nagpur, on Saturday observed ‘Black Day’ on the call of Maharashtra Consumers Distributors Federation. The protest was against the multi-national company Kellogs. “The company’s policies are wrong such as reducing margins, harassment of retailers, non-settlement of damaged stock at right time and at right price The wrong policies of Kellogs is putting all distributors in Maharashtra at financial hardships, ” lamented the protesting distributors.

A meeting of CPDA was held in the office of NVCC which was attended by President Sunil Bhatia, Zone President Subhash Jobanputra, Rahul Chandak, Zone Secretary Anand Bhutada and others. The distributors had resorted to non-cooperation with the company since the past 35 days. The one-day protest has caused a loss of Rs 5000 crore across Maharashtra.
