Nagpur: In a show of strength, Congress will take out ‘Mahamorcha’ against BJP Government at State and Centre highlighting rising unemployment in the country. The ‘Mahamorcha’ has been organised on April 1 and will commence from Nagpur University and culminate at Yashwant Stadium.
Even though the Nagpur District Congress Committee is organising the morcha, a board has mentioned the organisers as Nagpur Loksabha Yuvak Congress, Ramtek Loksabha Yuvak Congress and National Students Union of India (NSUI).
The Congress will demand the BJP Government to fulfill the pre-poll promises. “Nitin Gadkariand other BJP leaders had made several poll promises one of them being providing jobs to crores of youths. But even after four years of coming to power, the promises remained hollow,” the party said.
Rajendra Mulak, District Congress President and former Minister of State said, the ruling party has made fool of the people. The Congress will hit the streets to expose the ruling party. The ruling party has promised to provide jobs to 2 crore youths but it has stopped the recruitment in the government jobs, he added. The youth Congress workers of Ramtek Lok Sabha, NSUI and Nagpur Lok Sabha Youth Congress will participate in the morcha.
