Nagpur: Close on the heels of the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis sharing his good vibes with journalists and even announcing a separate Patrakar Colony in Nagpur, here comes a bad one from Congress MLA Nitesh Rane who posed questions on the functioning of journalists.
Raising a question in the House during the ongoing winter session of State Legislative Assembly here, Rane said that journalists mostly level false allegations against public representatives. “Shall I state that all journalists are pick pockets,” he said.
Rane’s bone of contention was a news item published in a Marathi daily newspaper. He said, “When they (journalists) wanted to get any work done from us they keep surrounding us and then publish derogatory reports against us.”
As Rane was airing his views, the journalists present in the House were listening to this silently.
