Nagpur: A con man from Mumbai first promised a city girl with marriage and later misused her ATM card to relieve her of Rs 73,000.

The complainant Samira Fatima Mukhtar Ahmed (31), resident of Yerkheda in New Kamptee, told police that the accused Rehman Sheikh, native of Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri, Mumbai, promised her with marriage. After winning her confidence, the accused Rehman Sheikh procured ATM card from Samira and withdrew Rs 73,000 over a period from September 6 to 15, 2016. Later, the accused refused to marry Samira and went untraceable.
