Con man dupes elderly person of Rs 6.40 lakh in property deal

Nagpur: A con man deceived an elderly person to the tune of Rs 6.40 lakh by selling him a house on the basis of forged documents.

The accused Mohammed Dulare Mohammed Ismail, resident of Darshan Colony in Nandanvan area approached Rajesh Sadashiv Vijaykar (82) of Vinoba Bhave Nagar on October 1, 2016 and negotiated a deal to sell his house. However, the accused forged the documents of his house to show the property belonged to him and sold it to Rajesh Vijaykar for Rs 6.40 lakh. But the fraud soon came to the fore forcing the elderly man to lodged a complaint with Nandanvan police.

PSI Vitole, acting on the complaint, has booked the accused Mohammed Dulare Mohammed Ismail under Sections 420, 464, 465, 467, 468, 471 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
