Chis Martin has visited India twice now.

His first visit was in July last year where he and actress Freida Pinto had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and pitched support to the his ‘Swachh Bharat’ and the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaigns.

The frontman also managed to surprise some lucky Delhiites when he broke into an impromptu gig and was joined by composer-singer Vishal Dadlani on stage at a tony pub in South Delhi.

Ok, I just got off stage from standing around while Chris Martin of Coldplay did an impromptu set. Holy wow!!

The second time around he visited along with his other band members to shoot one of their songs in the upcoming album “The head full of dreams” in Mumbai. While the band were shooting a holi sequence, the diverse colour of the country has certainly etched a place in the band’s heart.

And the Indian theme at their Super Bowl performance establishes their love for the country.
