Nagpur: Mercury in Nagpur on Tuesday and Wednesday dipped considerably as the city experienced thunderstorms with light rains. One or two places in Nagpur district also experienced hailstorms in the late night.
On Tuesday, Nagpurians woke up under dense fog which was a rare view for the city. The visibility was just 300 metres due to dense fog in the morning. It gave a feeling of a hill station and the morning walkers enjoyed it very much.
Throughout the day, the weather remained cloudy and thunderstorms and light rains started in the evening. Along with Nagpur, thunderstorms with moderate rains were also observed in Gondia,Wardha, Akola, Gadchiroli and Amravati districts. Akola, Amravati and Bhandara recorded hailstorms in the late night.
On Wednesday too, cloudy weather continued all day leaving the citizens shivering.
