As part of his election campaign BJP candidate Nitin Gadkari reached out to citizens of East Nagpur. He started his rally from Hasanbagh area on March 26, 2014. The rally went to Nandanwan area.

10:45 am BJP candidate Nitin Gadkari’s rally reached the Shakti Mata Nagar on Kharbi Road. The people greeted him with a lot of garlands and were seen showering the rallyists with rose petals etc. They had to continue to drinking water.
11:00 am BJP candidate Nitin Gadkari’s rally reached the Ramna Maruti Square. Here too the Gadkari received a very good response. He was showered with a lot of petals and was garlanded many times. Here Gadkari enjoyed tender coconut water.
Mayor Prof Anil Sole was also seen here. Women had gathered in large numbers and the moment the rally reached, they hoarded him and garlanded him.
