Nagpur:
President of Vidarbha Taxpayers Association (VTA) J. P. Sharma expressed upsetting situation through press release wherein he said that taxpayers of the city are seen worried as hardly any development seen in Nagpur City; irrespective of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule best efforts in last two years.

Sharma said, he believes that one of the major cause for such speed of snail development is due to lethargic officers of NMC, NIT, MADC, MSRDC, City Survey Office and other Administrative Offices, where it is observed that the Commissioner, Collector and similar wants to deliver more and are working hard, however they are not supported by few officers below them. Due to such attitude, practically all projects including Ram Jhula and similar are progressing at very depressing pace.

Recent initiative by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for rejuvenation of Nag, Pohra and Pili River is highly appreciable; however it seems we do not have capable officers to implement such project, that’s why all projects are unable to get required speed. Projects announced two year back are not seen on ground till date.

J. P. Sharma requested Central and State Government that serious efforts should be made so that for early infrastructural action of the city projects are seen and thereby sending clear signal of satisfaction to the taxpayers.
