With an astounding score of New Zealand with 126 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs, Indian Team had a target for 127 runs to win. After 17 overs India scored 75 runs for 8 wickets causing India to lose their eighth wicket in Ravichandran who scored 10 runs off 20 balls. Sodhi got his wicket which was third for the New Zealander.
