City bus service to Jaripatka resumes after 14-year gap

With the untiring efforts of area Corporator Suresh Jagyasi, the city bus services to Jaripatka were resumed after a gap of 14 years. On Monday (August 15), the Star Bus service was flagged off after religious ritual in the presence of host of dignitaries including City Congress Committee Secretary Thakur Jagyasi, Corporator Bhavana Lonare, Mangalwari Zone Assistant Commissioner Dhameja, Transport Board Officer Arun Popurde, Jagtap, Mankar and others.

Rameshlal Jagyasi, Madhavdas Mamtani, Fakira, Leeladevi, Usha Narula, Nandlal Udasi, Dwarkadas Jagyasi, Tahalram Advani, Maharaj Swami, Rameshlal Sharma, Trilokchand Sharma, Murlidhar Sharma, Harish Maharaj, Roshika Lalwani, and Dhammanand Priy performed puja and inaugurated the bus service. The bus from Jaripatka to Sitabuldi will be run every 45 minutes and from Jaripatka to Gandhibagh, Medical College Square every hour.

The programme was conducted by Khemchand Balwani and vote of thanks was proposed by Daulat Mungwani.
