Citizens to enjoy Mithoon perform at the Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged

Mithun seen addressing the mediaNagpur: Mithoon Sharma proved more than once that he is the piece of the old block. Like his father Naresh Sharma who has scored background music for more than 200 movies Mithoon too is a versatile composer and singer of Bollywood movies.

While speaking to media personnel before the Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged Season-5 in the city, Mithoon said that he has composed songs for the past 11 years. From movies like Zehar to Humari Adhoori Kahani he has given more than 20 hit songs.

He claimed that this is the first time he has come to Nagpur.

While answering to a query on his views on Unplugged, he said that Unplugged is performed or recorded with acoustic rather than electrically amplified instruments.

He said that this time the Theme of the Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged Season-5 is “Perfection”.

However, Mithoon elaborated and said that we should acknowledge that we are imperfect and so are beautiful. No one can claim to be flawless. Mithoon claimed that unlike his music albums available in CDs, his performance in the performance today is going to be imperfect yet it is going to be honest so will be perfect.

While reminiscing his tryst with Nagpur, he said that he had come to Nagpur twenty years ago when he was merely 9 years old and had come to the city to perform at the Laxmikant Pyarelal Night. He carried good memories with Nagpur which drew him back to the city.

While answering to another query, he said that he did participate in the Unplugged Season-4, this time he has just started with Nagpur.

While speaking about his preference, he said that he prefers melody. He claimed that all his songs are based on Nature theme. He added that as long as we remain connected with nature, Music will never end.

At Nagpur, Mithoon will be accompanied by reputed singers Gajendra Verma, Mohammed Irfan and Aditi Paul. While speaking about what inspires him when he composes music, he said that Human emotions, expressions of various moods, life inspires him to compose some of the hit numbers he has given to the Bollywood film industry.
On the request of the media personnel, he sang the popular Hindi number Maula Mere Maula Mere. Mohammed Irfand and Gajendra Singh too sang some of the songs composed by Mithoon.
