
Nagpur, Mar 23, 2026, Emphasizing the message that “Water is Life” and that every drop is precious, a public awareness program was organized at Kaikadi Nagar on the occasion of World Water Day. The initiative was jointly conducted by Orange City Water (OCW) and Green Vigil Foundation, aiming to instill the importance of water conservation among citizens, especially the younger minds.
As part of the program, children led an engaging rally carrying the message “Water is Life,” which drew the attention of the entire locality. Along with the rally, the children showcased their creativity through drawings and impactful slogan posters on water conservation, effectively spreading awareness about saving water.
Through their enthusiastic participation, the children highlighted the importance of protecting water resources for a sustainable future. Their efforts demonstrated how small actions can contribute to a larger environmental cause.
Experts from Green Vigil Foundation also addressed the gathering, speaking about the World Water Day 2026 theme, “Water & Gender.” They emphasized the need for responsible water usage and environmental protection, and shared practical tips on how individuals can conserve water through small changes in their daily lives.
A collective pledge was also taken during the program: “We will use every drop of water responsibly and remain committed to water conservation.” The initiative received a positive response from the community, giving a strong boost to local water conservation efforts and encouraging citizens to prevent water wastage.
