Nagpur: Sadar police have launched a hunt to nab an unidentified person who stole Rs 30,000 from purse of a woman manning a Xerox Centre in busy Nyay Mandir (District Court), Civil Lines here on Thursday.
Seema Mohammed Ibrahim Tulkurba (50), resident of First Floor, Sarfaraz Palace, near Rathod Lawn, was manning her Seema Xerox Centre at District Court premises as usual on Thursday (July 14). Seema had kept her purse containing cash of Rs 30,000 on counter table of the Xerox Centre. Between 12 noon and 6 pm, an unidentified person pilfered the cash and vanished from the scene. The theft came to notice of Seema when she returned home and checked her purse.
Sadar API Sawant has registered a case under Section 380 of the IPC and searching for the burglar.
