Burglar’s strike at would-be bridegroom’s house in Koradi, decamp with Rs 2.45 lakh booty

: Burglars struck a house in Koradi when the would-be bridegroom and his parents went out for distribution of wedding invitation cards on Thursday evening. The miscreants decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 95,000 and Rs 1.50 lakh cash.

The complainant Ishwar Prabhudas Wakode (29), resident of Plot No. 25, Eros Society, Arya Nagar, and his parents around 6 pm on Thursday locked home and went out for distribution of Ishwar’s wedding cards. Taking the opportunity, burglars struck their house and decamped with gold ornaments and cash collectively valued at Rs 2.45 lakh.

Koradi PSI S Pingle has booked the unidentified thieves under Sections 454, 380 of the IPC and searching for them.
