BSP District Secretary of South and East Nagpur Mr. Anand Somkuwar led padyatra to support the electoral efforts of Bahujan Samaj Party candidate from Nagpur region Dr. Mohan Gaikwad. The padyatra began from Prajapati Nagar at 11:00 am today.
A special feature of the padyatra was garlanding every statue of Hon’ble Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar coming in the way. During the padyatra, BSP leaders interacted with the local people to know their expectations from the elected candidate. The people expressed confidence in Dr. Gaikwad and wished him success in the elections. At various places the followers of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and other local people welcomed the yatri with floral bouquets and garlands.
The padyatra progressed to cover Sonba Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Deshpande Layout etc. More than 300 people participated in the padyatra. The Padyatra was prominently attended by Mr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Mr. Satish Khobragade, Mr. Sanjay Vikas, Mr. Sanjay Kamble, Mr. Deepak Gaikwad, Mr. rajkumar Chandel, Mr. Mishrilal Markam, Mr. Raman Lokhande, Mrs. Durga Pudke, Mrs. Usha Thool, Mrs. Ulka Meshram, Mrs. Paunikar Tai and Mr. Mohd. Jamal.
