New Delhi/Nagpur: The firm which used Pierce Brosnan’s image to promote its products, triggering a social media storm in the process, said that it had not breached the contract it signed with the Hollywood star.
Under fire for endorsing Pan Bahar, the former Bond star said he was “deeply shocked and saddened” by the criticism.
“The advertisement was made as per the contract bet ween Pierce Brosnan and the company , following all the formalities,” Dinesh Jain, brand owner of Pan Bahar said. He said the company had not deviated from the contract. “Everything was done as per the contract. The product is 0% tobacco. It is a mouth freshener and there is no trace of any tobacco in the product. Hence the advertisement was made as per the law,” said Jain.
