Nagpur: Footpaths in Second Capital of the State pose a challenge for the pedestrians, with broken pavement slabs inviting danger.
Despite being aware of the fact that broken footpaths and manholes covers are inviting mishaps at Sanskrutik Sankul Sitabuldi, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and other authorities concerned have failed to pay attention to the menace in the city.
Several broken cement slabs can be seen along the pavements owing to the absence of regular maintenance and repair work. The broken slabs along the stretch have become an eyesore for the visitors but no avail.
