Nagpur News:Unidentified people have burgled the house of one Devidas Tilmule at Shahu Nagar near Besa Road under Hudkeshwar police station. The thieves have decamped with jewellery and cash worth around Rs 60,000 from a locked steel almirah in his house.
This has been tenth consecutive theft under Hudkeshwar during the past one month. The rising incidents of burglary have been causing concern among the citizens there.
There was no one at the Devidas’s house at plot no. 241 in Shahu Nagar, when the theft took place. Devidas has been out of station for quite some time along with his family members. His son 17 years old Akshay was staying back home. Akshay had gone to attend his regular classes when his house was stormed. Hudkeshwar police have registered the crime under sections 454 and 380 of IPC. Further investigation is on.
