Nagpur: Khapa Police on Tuesday arrested an 18-year-old boy for sexually assaulting a minor girl. The accused, Aditya Macchindra Pillewan is a resident of Badegaon. Aditya and the 17- year-old victim, both students of the same college, had an affair since August 7.

He allegedly established physical relations with the victim without her consent. The matter came to light when the girl conceived.

The incident was reported to Ambazari Police. After the case papers were transferred to Khapa Police, they recorded the victim’s statement and registered an offence under Sections 376(3)(j)(n) of the IPC read with Sections 4, 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, against the boy.
