In this year, they have introduced many Nagpurians to cuisines from different parts of the world like Thai, Chinese, Russian, German, French etc. without withholding choice Indian food they like, e.g. Mutton Rogan josh, Biryanis, Dal Makhani and Butter Nans!
On any given evening – since this restaurant is open only for breakfast and dinner – one can enjoy a mix and match of all international foods at their sumptuous buffet counter. The evening we went there, they had dishes like South Western Chicken Stew, Lamb Scramozza, Poached ginger fish and Veg Shepherd Pie on offer along with a plethora of starters, Indian main dishes like Chicken Biryani, mutton curry and a vast array of desserts too.
Among these dishes, the Lamb Scramozza was lip smackingly good. Succulent pieces of leg of lamb that had been marinated the whole night and then roasted to perfection. The ginger fish, which was the center piece attraction at the buffet counter that night was your usual Maral fish cooked in a different subtle sauce. There were two soups on offer too – Cream of Brocolli and Sweet corn chicken.
All in all, its a steal for Rs. 750/ plus taxes. For those who like to ‘imbibe’ they have an unbeatable offer – just add Rs. 350/ to this and you can have all the drinks you want! (Choice may not be extensive though, since drinks served depend on the promotional offers going).
The buffet breakfast they serve till 10.30 a.m. also has an international choice, live egg counters, pan cakes, waffles, puri bhaji, South Indian, Bacon-sausages et al. This is priced at Rs. 299/ plus taxes.
For dinner their arrangement is simple – for the first 15 days of the month it is a choice of Oriental plus Indian foods and for the following 15, it is Continental, American, South American food etc. combined with Indian.
