Bomb On Air India Flight In Kolkata

air-india_650x400_41468215921Kolkata: Security at Kolkata airport has been heightened after Air India received a call claiming that there is a bomb on its Guwahati-bound flight. The call was received before the flight was scheduled to take off.

Boarding has been stopped and the plane has been taken to isolation, where a bomb detection and disposal squad is inspecting it.

A woman called Air India at 08:20 am and alerted them about a suspected bomb on the 09:30 am flight to Guwahati. Security was called in immediately and boarding for 114 passengers was stopped.
