Nagpur: Body of a 35-year old man was found near railway crossing in Nandanvan area on Friday night. Police suspect murder as the body bore deep wounds on neck and throat apparently caused by a sharp-edged weapon.
According to police, Bidgaon resident Maniram Roopchand Nageshwar (35) was found dead late Friday night between 9.15 pm and 11.40 pm. Residents of Nageshwar Nagar, Govardhan layout discovered the body near railway crossing and informed Nandanvan police station immediately. Cops reached the spot and after initial investigation identified the victim as Maniram Nageshwar.
Nandanvan cops have registered an offence under Section 302 against unidentified accused.
