Nagpur: Tension ran high when body of a 12-year old boy was found floating in a swimming pool of a dilapidated Raisoni building in Sangharsh Nagar, Nandanvan area here on Sunday morning.
The deceased boy has been identified as Om Sheshrao Gautre, resident of Nandanvan Slums. On being informed, a team of Nandanvan police reached the spot and pulled out Om’s body from the swimming pool. After performing Panchnama, cops sent the body to Government Hospital for post-mortem.
API S J Kakode has registered a case of accidental death and launched a thorough investigation to ascertain how the boy reached the swimming pool of the deserted building and died there.
