Nagpur:
Apparently in a bid to keep the sulking MLAs pacified, BJP and Shiv Sena held parleys on appointments to various Boards and Corporations. If sources are to be believed, MHADA post will go to BJP and the CIDCO to Shiv Sena. With the planned appointments, both the allies could breathe easy in the coming civic elections.

After the recent expansion and reshuffle of Fadnavis Ministry, a number of leaders of both parties were feeling sidelined. These disgruntled souls, as a sort of solace, have now mounted efforts to grab the plum posts in different Boards and Corporations. In this backdrop, the BJP State President Raosaheb Danve, Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil, Shiv Sena Ministers Subhash Desai, Divakar Raote held a meeting in Mumbai recently and held parleys over the share of these plum posts.

However, unanimity eluded the meeting with both parties staking claims over specific posts. But still the parties agreed that BJP will be bestowed with MHADA Chairman’s post and the members will be made from Shiv Sena and other allies. On the other hand, CIDCO Chairman will be of Shiv Sena and members will be from BJP and allies. However, the post of MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board) chief eluded the consensus. Both the parties are staking claim on the post. Even as the Environment Ministry is held by Shiv Sena, BJP is not ready to give up the post but ready to offer Krushna Valley Corporation Vice Chairman’s post to Shiv Sena in lieu of MPCB post.
