Nagpur: In the run up to the race for a post of Trustee in Nagpur Improvement Trust, the Bharatiya Janata Party, it seems, has zeroed in on the name. According to sources, the party has sealed the name of Bhushan Shingne for the coveted post. The formal announcement is likely to be done during the General Body Meeting of Nagpur Municipal Corporation to be held on Wednesday. Shingne is at present Corporator from Gorewada (Division 8). Talks were making rounds that the party this time would send a Corporator from outer area of Nagpur for the vacant post of NIT Trustee. Name of Girish Deshmukh among others was being discussed. But Bhushan Shingne is likely to win the race. The post of NIT Trustee went vacant following resignation by BJP Corporator Ravindra (Chhotu Bhoyar) a few days ago.
