It’s wedding bells for cricketer Harbhajan Singh and actress Geeta Basra who will be tying the knot at a private ceremony in Jalandhar on Thursday. The pre-wedding rituals have already begun in both households. Basra, who has starred in films like “Dil Diya Hai” and “Second Hand Husband”, on Tuesday had a ‘mehendi’ ceremony. The model-turned-actress looked resplendent in a lemon yellow lehenga and a candy pink choli with pita embroidery.
The cricketer, meanwhile, posted pictures from the ‘sangeet’ ceremony on his Instagram and Facebook accounts. The ‘mehendi’ was conducted at a glitzy do in a five-star hotel in Jalandhar.
For Bhajji, it was a bling-some evening, as he turned out in a fuschia-coloured ‘sherwani’. Basra settled for a bottle-green ‘lehenga’.
