Bawankule to unfurl tricolor at main function of R-Day at KP Ground

The main function of 68th Republic Day celebration will be held at historic Kasturchand Park Ground here on January 26. The ceremony will commence at 9.15 am. The State Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, who is also the Nagpur Guardian Minister, will unfurl the tricolor and take the salute from parade.

Other dignitaries to be present on the occasion include Divisional Commissioner Anup Kumar, Commissioner of Police Dr K Venkatesham, District Collector Sachin Kurve, DSP Anant Rokde, Chief Efecutive Officer Dr Kadambari Balkawde and others.
Bawankule will inspect the parade and take salute from the parade participants. The personnel taking part in the parade include SRPF, Nagpur Police Force, Nagpur Rural Police Force, Railway Police, Home Guards, NCC, Fire Brigade etc. Similarly students of Rajkumar Kewalramani Vidyalaya, Rajendra High school, Prahar Military School, Sanskar Vidyasagar, St Ursula Girls School, and other organizations.

Freedom fighters, people’s representatives, senior government officials, and prominent citizens have been invited for the main function of Republic Day.
