Nagpur: The Deputy Mayor Satish Holay paid tributes to Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade, a flamboyant leader of Ambedkar Movement and Scheduled Caste Federation, on his 91st birth anniversary that was celebrated on September 25. The Deputy mayor and BSP Corporator Murlidhar Meshram visited Indora Square and garlanded the statue of Bar Khobragade and paid their tributes.
Other personalities present on the occasion include Bhante Dipankar, Balu Gharde, Dr Bankar, activists of Samata Sainik Dal and citizens.
Adv Sakharampant Meshram
Former leader of Republican Party and former Deputy Mayor Adv Sakharampant Meshram was remembered on his 100th birth anniversary. Deputy Mayor Satish Holay garlanded the statue of Adv Meshram at Sadar Square while paying his tributes.
Murlidhar Meshram, Ashok Godghate, Sunil Meshram, Vasant Khobragade, Sudhir Meshram, Sushil Meshram, Latika Meshram, Meena Meshram, Abhishek Meshram, Dilip Tandale and Rajesh Wasnik were present on the occasion.
