Banks to Have 11 non-working days this July

Settle the banking affairs this June, as the next calendar month holds about 11 days off for the banks across India.

banks-621x414-620x330Nagpur: Though visit to banks have become lesser with the smart-banking, on-line banking and ATM credit/debit cards etc, with the banks remaining closed for some reason will definitely affect the business and individually too.

July is going to witness many such “holidays” for bank employees.

On July 9, 2016 and July 23, 2016, the banks will remain closed because of second Saturday and fourth Saturday respectively.

The banks are again closed on July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 since it is Sundays.

The bank will remain closed on July 6, 2016 on account of Eid-ul-Fitr. The Bank of Bikaner and Bank of Jaipur are on strike on July 12 and 28, 2016. The banks would again remain closed on July 13, 2016 since a nationwide strike is scheduled.

The functioning of the banks would be affected again on July 29, 2016, since the United Forum of Bank Unions have called a strike.

Therefore the banks would remain closed on July 3,6,9,10,12,13,17,23,24,28,31 (11 days in all).

Kindly make note of these dates and be prepared so that one does not face any problems.
