Kishoreganj: Two people, including a policemen, have been killed and five injured in an explosion near the entrance of Bangladesh’s largest Eid congregation in Kishoreganj.
Over 3 lakh people had gathered to offer prayers at the spot.
Bangladeshi media reports that police is now trading fires with the attackers.

Kishoreganj is 100 kms north of Dhaka where a cafe was attacked on July 1. 28 people, mostly foreigners, had died in the attack
Bangladesh Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said the attack is a political move and has no Islamic agenda. He also confirmed that the attack was aimed at the police convoy which was guarding the Eid congregation.
