Bajaria tense after goons damage parked vehicles; Cops clueless

bajariaNagpur: Armed with swords and hockey sticks, dreaded goons unleashed a wave of terror in Bajaria area on Tuesday after they damaged over half a dozen vehicles parked near Nandumal building in the area. The situation in the area has been reportedly tense following the incident which happened late night at 1.30 am on Monday.

Police sources said the windscreens of 5 vehicles were smashed while other vehicles received dent at many places. Cops rushed the spot on receiving information. Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinash Kumar also reached  the spot to review the situation. He convinced the owners of the vehicles that action will be initiated only when they lodge a police complaint.

pg-1-5According to sources, some unidentified goons smashed the windscreens and causing dents on many vehicles standing in front of Nandulal Building in Bajeria at around 1:30 am on September 29, 2015.

Among the damaged vehicles include SUVs, cars and auto rickshaw.

No clue on the accused is ascertained as yet. However, Ganeshpeth Police has registered a case against unidentified goons and has initiated an investigation into the matter.

Attack on cops!

On Monday night, Policeman Ramesh Menewar was on police patrolling duty along with his colleagues. Meanwhile, they received the message from the Police Control room that some argument and quarrel has ensued in front of Nandumal Building in Bajeria. Police Constable Ramesh Menewar and his colleagues reached the spot.

The accused Akash Shukla, Nandkishore Shukla started an argument with the cops and the argument became heated and the accused duo started beating-up the cops with canes (Lathi). This issue then reached the Ganeshpeth Police Station. When the crowd in front of the Police Station grew, the cops had to resort to mild lathi-charge to disperse the crowd. An incident including ugly scenes was observed in front of Ganeshpeth Police Station at around 1:30 am of September 29, 2015.
