After Alia Bhatt, is it Anushka Sharma now?
The sad demise of legendary former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam has created a black day in history. Tributes are being paid, matching a countless number on social media.
However, one such tribute on Twitter led to horrendous effect, and why not? The name of the legend was mentioned wrongly. Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on Tuesday stocked fresh spell of controversy when she made a wrong tweet on APJ Abdul Kalam’s demise.
It’s proven fact that one can’t get away easily for their gaffe on the social media. Sharma’s original tweet read: “Very sad to hear about the passing of ABJ Kalam Azad. Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul. May his soul RIP.” Abdul Kalam Azad was an Indian freedom fighter.
The gaffe attracted a lot of negative comments. Sharma deleted the tweet as soon as she realized her mistake and posted another with the right name.
