Anu Malik, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra last week, underwent surgery on Friday.
The music composer, who was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, is currently on his way to recovery. He has been kept in the ICU for medical supervision.
Malik will be discharged on Thursday.
