The 2nd Annual Day Celebration of The Millennium School, Nagpur aptly named ‘Bachpan-The Essence of Childhood’, was a showcase of how talented the little students – across Pre-nursery to grade 8th – really are. The three-hour event brought to life the colours of childhood, with programmes ranging from dance to musical presentations to song and drama.
They say happiness comes in small packages. This adage was certainly proved at TMS, Nagpur by the bedazzling performances of the students. Mrs Asawari Shenolikar, Deputy Editor, The Hitavada was the chief guest for the occasion. The other luminaries gracing the occasion included Mr Om Prakash Biyani Bhaarati as the Guest of Honour and Mrs Rita Kaul Director Millennium Schools as the Special Guest.
The programme was an amalgamation of various hues and the students showcased the various shades of childhood and happiness. Throughout the show the students resplendent in various costumes enraptured the audience. The beginning of the auspicious occasion was marked by the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome dance. Dr. Mallikarjun Karimungi, Principal presented the Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the school and goals set up for the future. Later, the plethora of events mesmerized the guests. The colourful fusion marked a befitting finale to the programme. The students were awarded certificates and applauded for their efforts.
