Nagpur: “17th ENGINEER’S CUP -2017, National level Event was organized by Department of Physical Education & Sports-Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology. This is 17th year of ENGINEER’S CUP. This is a platform specially for Degree Engineering Students and Diploma Engineering Students and got off to a start on February 2, 2017 with 20-20 overs Cricket Matches at St Mary School Cricket Ground, behind Ayappa Temple & Rathor Lawn,Mankapur-Borgaon Ring Road,Police Line Takli.
On 8th February, 2017, Final match of the Tournament was played between Anjuman College of Engg & Tech. Vs Gaikwad Patil Engg Group, in which Anjuman College of Engg & Tech. “A”won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 117 runs loss of 10 Wickets in 20 overs, Sugat Deve played wonderful knock and scored 30(Four-3) runs Faizan Ahmed played wonderful knock and scored 29(Four-4,Six-1)) runs, Gaikwad Patil Engg Group bowlers Sagar Zade,Vikrant Tute & Satish Choudhary took 3-3 wickets, In reply Gaikwad Patil Engg Group scored116 Runs in 20 overs with the loss of 10 wickets,Sagar Zade Scored 42 (Four-7) Runs,Amay Bajme scored 23 Runs(Four-3) ,Anjuman College of Engg & Tech. bowlers Qumail Ajani took 4 Wickets ,Faizan Ahmed took 3 Wickets and Sugat Deve took 2 Wickets.
Result :- Anjuman College of Engg & Tech won by 1 Run.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Cricket concluded in the presence of Dr Sajid Anawar, Principal, Anjuman College of Engg & Tech. Sadar, Nagpur, Mr. Bhushan Shingne, Trustee, NIT, Glen Montiero, MD, St. Mary school and Prof.Zakir S. Khan, Organizing Secretary, 17th Engineers Cup-2017 with Prof. Naved Zishan and Prof. Mohd Tahir. Winner Team Anjuman College of Engg & Tech. “A” received Cup with Cash Prize Rs 10,000/- and Runner up Team Gaikwad Patil Engg Group Received Cup with Cash Prize Rs 6,000/- .
In Futsal, Y.C.C.E. entered in 2nd Semi & Anjuman Engg College -B Won 1st Semi Final.
1st Match on 8th February at 11 .00 am Futsal is played between Y.C.C.E. and Kamptee Polytechnic, toss won by Y.C.C.E. and match won by Y.C.C.E. by 1-0 in which Adnan Gouri scored 1 goal in 14th Minute.
2nd Match on 8th February at 12.00 Noon Futsal is played between K.D.K.Engg and S.B.Jain ,toss won by S.B.Jain and match won by S.B.Jain by 2-1 in which Aishwary Mangrulwar scored 2 goal in 10th & 14th Minute and from K.D.K.Engg Blason Saji scored 1 Goal in 9th Minute.
3rd Match on 8th February at 2.00 PM Futsal is played between S.B.Jain and G.H.Raisoni,toss won by G.H.Raisoni and match won by G.H.Raisoni 3-1 in Penalties , in which Sameer Ansari,Hitesh Harode & Manpreet Scored the Goals from S.B.Jain Tabrez Sheikh scored 1 Goal.
1st Semi-Final Match on 8th February at 5.00 PM Futsal is played between Anjuman Engg “B” Vs G.H.Raisoni,toss won by G.H.Raisoni and match won by Anjuman Engg “B” 5-1 in Penalties , in which Mirza Qadir Baig scored 2 Goal in 28th & 29th Minute, Sohail ALKABIR scored 1 Goal in 17th Minute, Mohd Rizwan scored 1 Goal in 26th Minute, Monis-ur -Rahman scored 1 Goal in 29th Minute.
