Nagpur: A ‘Hindvi Swarajya Mini Marathon’ was organized in Mahal to mark Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharj Jayanti. Akash Uike and Yamini Thakre of Vidyarthi Yuvak Krida Mandal bagged the honour of winners in respective categories. At the outset, Mudhoji Bhonsale flagged off the ‘Mini Marathon.’ A large number of students participated in the event. The dignitaries who graced the programme include senior Corporators Bandu Raut, Rashmi Fadnavis, and Satish Salunke, Prakash Khandagale, Ravindra Katariya.
The event was organized with the cooperation of Samay Educational Foundation. Akash Uike completed the 3-km mini marathon by clocking 7.57 minutes while Hemant Parate and Kamalesh Rangari timed 8.93 minutes and 8.27 minutes for the second and third place respectively.
