Nagpur: Frustrated over what sources described as continuous scolding from his parents, a 14-year-old school student committed suicide by hanging himself with the help of a bed sheet on November 12.
The deceased boy has identified as Krish Sunil Lunawat, a resident of Hingna Road. However it is yet to be ascertained what exactly led the boy to take the extreme step, the police suspected that the boy could have been aggrieved over the constant scolding.
It is learnt that Krish’s parents were out on Monday afternoon when he used ceiling fan and bed sheet to hang himself. The incident came to fore when his parents returned around 2 pm and found his body hanging.
Subsequently they alerted Kotwali police station.
Kotwali police station has registered a case of accidental death.
